The main role I am playing is Quince. In the play Quince is somewhat of a nerd since he is always correcting people about their parts in the play. Quince is also the type of person that wants to impress because he wants to impress the duke. The confident Bottom however usually pushes around Quince.
My Character is in Act V Scene I. My characters linear objective in the scene is to read the prologue of the play. I introduce the Characters one by one and tell what goes on in the play. My main goal is to get the crowd into the play because I know if it goes well we will make a lot of money from the play. By playing the prologue I get the play off to a good start and get the audience into the play as well.
When my character is on stage he is reading the prologue of the play. When he announces the prologue his is talking to the whole audience because he wants to be able to draw them into the play. He want to be able to get the crowd into the play because he wants to be able to have a good play so he can make a lot of money. While my character is speaking he is excited since he knows what is at stake when he is performing the play. He is introducing each of the characters in the play by reading the prologue. To enhance my characters life I could be smiling more and become really a lot more over excited than needed to be. This shows that my character is really into the play and is really happy to be performing it.
